Egyptair’s new 777

Boeing has confirmed that it has delivered a first 777-300ER for Egyptair.
March 11: Boeing has confirmed that it has delivered a first 777-300ER (Extended Range) commercial jetliner to leasing company GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), which has leased the aircraft to Egyptair.
The airline already operates five 777-200ERs and is expected to lease another 777-300ERs through to 2011. The new model has 346 seats, including 49 lie-flat beds with a 78-inch seat pitch, plus an in-seat entertainment system throughout the cabin. Egyptair will operate the new aircraft on routes to London, Tokyo and North America.
